The Pharmacy Show 2012
The Pharmacy Show is the UK’s only CPD-accredited training, education and sourcing event for UK community pharmacy. It takes place on Sunday, September 30th - Monday, October 1st, 2012, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham. www.thepharmacyshow.co.uk

The idea for CollectIT™
The idea for CollectIT™ was conceived after a discussion with the owner of a chain of pharmacy shops who was spending a lot of time with his staff trying to manage a growing wholesale operation. The skilled team at Tradax Group, who have built some large enterprise solutions for many customers in the health and life sciences sector, felt that they could help out. The result was a system which went live on March 1st 2011 and commenced buying products for four of the six shops in the business.The team from Tradax Group and the customer then worked over many months to refine and further develop the automation and control that the system would deliver, and then offered it to a range of pharmacy business throughout Wales. This first phase has been successful and the product is now being promoted in Scotland, The Republic of Ireland and selected areas within England.
